SHIPPING & RETURNS

1. Where does Akira Beauty ship? Do you ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses?

Akira currently only ships within the U.S. At this time, we do not ship to P.O. Boxes, BFPO, APO/ FPO, or any other military addresses.

2. How do I track my order?

After your order ships, you will receive an email with a tracking number and link. If you have additional questions, you can reach us at orders@akirabeauty.com.

3. When can I expect my delivery?

Akira Beauty orders ship from our Hong Kong international warehouse. For standard shipping usually takes 7-14 business days from the order date. Expedited delivery usually takes about 3-5 business days from the order date. Please note that delivery dates and days may vary according to public holidays.

4. What are your shipping methods?

Akira Beauty offers standard registered airmail and expedited shipping. Certain items considered hazardous materials by the U.S. Department of Transportation — such as pressurized spray cans, fragrance, or nail polish — can only be shipped via registered airmail. Restricted items may not be shipped to Alaska or Hawaii.

We aim to process and ship every order within 24-72 hours. Orders received Monday through Thursday will normally be processed the same day or the next business day. Orders received over the weekend or on major holidays will generally be processed during the following 1-2 business day(s). Please check the shipment tracking link in your shipping confirmation email for the latest shipping status.

We currently only ship within the U.S:

  • Standard Shipping — free for orders over $50 USD 
    • $10 for orders below $50 USD 
    • Orders are normally shipped via Hong Kong Post First Class Registered Airmail to the destination country and then via local postal service.
    • Estimated delivery time is 7 - 14 business days.
    • Registered Airmail tracking service is only available in some areas.
  • Expedited Shipping 
    • $15 expedited shipping 
    • Orders will be scheduled to be delivered from Hong Kong to the U.S within 3 - 5 business days.
    • Fragrance orders cannot be sent via expedited post.

5. What is a split shipment?

Shipping restrictions for certain international orders require that packages may not be over 4.40 pound. When Akira Beauty ships these orders, we will split those that weigh over 4.40 pound into two separate shipments that are mailed together. (For example, a 6.60-pound order will be split into two boxes, one weighing 4.40 pounds and the other weighing 2.20 pound.)

Although delivery time for expedited shipping is faster, many customers report that parcels sent by expedited shipping are usually held by customs, which may delay delivery. Akira Beauty is not responsible for any delays in customs.

Please note that the expedited shipping cost is non-refundable once your order is confirmed.

6. What is your delivery schedule?

For orders that ship from our warehouse in Hong Kong to U.S. addresses, our processing time is typically 2-3 business days, and the subsequent shipping time takes between 7-14 business days.

Orders received between Monday and Thursday are usually processed the same day or the next business day. Orders received on weekends or public holidays are usually processed during the following 1-2 business days.

The time frame here is provided for reference only. Since the processing time of local postal services vary, Akira Beauty cannot guarantee your exact delivery date. Depending on the destination country, your order may be delayed by customs clearance.

7. Do I need to pay sales tax or customs duties?

Your “total” cost displayed at checkout is not inclusive of additional taxes and duties. Some geographic locations may require the recipient to pay extra for clearance and/or duties. Akira Beauty has no control over these customs regulations. For further details, please contact your local customs authorities.

If a rejected parcel is not returned to Akira by the customs department, a refund will not be possible. Contact us at orders@akirabeauty.com with any questions. Please include your order number in your correspondence.

8. What is your return policy?

Unless noted otherwise, Akira Beauty accepts returns received within 30 days of the original shipping date. Items must be returned unused, undamaged, and unopened in their original packaging. The original shipping charge, if any, is not refundable.

Making returns with Akira Beauty is simple! If you’d like to make a return, simply include your packing slip in your shipment and enclose it along with the product(s) in a securely sealed package.

Akira Beauty reserves the right to refuse returns under the following conditions. Product is:

  • Opened or broken
  • A promotion or best value item
  • Listed as non-refundable/exchangeable
  • Returned more than 30 days after original shipping date

Refunds will be credited to the account used for the original purchase. Akira Beauty is not responsible for the cost of the return shipping.

9. Can I exchange my purchase?

Akira Beauty does not offer exchanges at this time. If you’d like to exchange an item, please contact orders@akirabeauty.com with your original confirmation number and we will be happy to process a return and place a new order for you.

10. What do I do if an item is damaged when I receive it?

Akira Beauty prioritizes making sure you’re happy with your purchase. If you have an issue with a leaked or damaged product, please keep the delivery box and all packaging and follow the instructions below. We will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

  • Please photograph:
    • The exterior parcel box used to deliver the products to you
    • The interior of the box
    • The leaked or damaged product
    • The QR code on the product

11. What do I do if there is a product quality issue?

If you experience any issues with product quality, notify Akira Beauty within 14 days of receiving your order. Please do not discard packaging before you sample your product. If you have product quality issues, follow the instructions below and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.

  • Please photograph the damaged/defective product
  • Please photograph the QR code label on the product

12. I think my order is lost. What should I do?

If you have not received your package, and you feel you should have, please contact orders@akirabeauty.com with your order confirmation number in the correspondence.
